A creator's journey to automating content production
Full-time creator running accounts on Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, and WeChat, focusing on overseas tech news and AI tool reviews
The hardest part of cross-border content is sourcing and translation. Every morning started with scrolling through Twitter, Reddit, and HackerNews, saving interesting topics, then spending another 1-2 hours translating and rewriting in Chinese — then formatting separately for each platform. All this prep work ate up 3-4 hours, leaving barely enough time to actually film. Even weekends felt like you couldn't disconnect, afraid of missing a trending topic.
We built a content automation pipeline with 4 cooperating Agents. The first is an intelligence radar that monitors a dozen overseas sources and auto-ranks trending topics by relevance. The second handles translation and rewriting — not stiff machine translation, but actual style transfer to match the creator's voice. The third adapts content for different platforms: Xiaohongshu image-text format, WeChat long-form, and Bilibili video scripts. The fourth handles scheduled posting at optimal times based on historical engagement data.
“I always wanted to use AI but had no idea how to set it up. They built me a content Agent — now topic research and trending content sourcing are fully automated. I just focus on filming.”
